This was not a 1.00$ app, since it is now useless will Garmin reimburse its clients??

I had exactly the same issue as everyone else. Decided to delete the app on my iPhone and reinstall. That was the solution. BUT! I had to repurchase all the in app purchases- a pretty expensive update! ($66.08 Cdn including tax) The good thing is that Garmin N.Aerica now works perfectly, bad thing is the cost, hence my rating.

Long time user, long time lover. But this new update 2.11 just causes it to crash instantly. Open the app and it flashes and crashes. Long story short, Im thinking about switching to Magellan or TomTom. Whoever has an app. :(

i was expecting more from Garmin, very expensive app that dont deliver the goods. dont pay for this , use google map ,at least the maps are updated and the trafic situation is more accurate I WANT A REFUND!

I followed their recommended solution to delete the app and reinstall, and it erased years worth of stored favorites. Is there a way to get them back? I cant believe the poor quality control that would allow a version like this to be released with so little testing. It is completely broken and doesnt even load without crashing. Recommending customers to delete and reinstall cost me years worth of precious information. I expect better from Garmin. I guess they have really gone downhill.

App no longer works since latest "update". It now crashes when you try to load it.

Update: Found a fix for constant crashing. Uninstall app and reinstall maps. I have fast internet so total time to download close to 3GB of data was 4 minutes. That includes deleting app to having it up and running. Also support link doesnt work. It would make sense that they should post a brief message instructing users to reinstall if it crashes - especially after this recent fatal update! Horrendous! Update: latest update completely crashes instantly when opening. At least before it worked but was buggy. No I have no GPS app. Get your act together!!! Update: Many more bugs since iOS 10 update. Bluetooth to car hasnt worked in ages. It seems this app has been abandoned. Do not buy. Update: After iOS 8 upgrade (currently on 8.0.2) audio cuts out. Havent seen male update in quite some time. Local search is now very poor. I believe they moved away from Google. Based on results not a good move. Going down to 1 star. If I could I would rate it zero. Update: yet another update released to fix the bug but too late for me I already had to do it twice so ended up downloading 4 gigs of data. Not impressed. Update: Fixed issue by completely uninstalling app. Unfortunately I had to download the maps again. Upping my rating to two starts for the trouble. Hopefully there will be no other bugs with this release. Update: Reducing to one star. Latest update only shows highways so navigation doesnt work. Oddly enough I id the same update on my iPad mini and it worked fine. It seems this update introduced more bugs. I expected better from Garmin. .... Let me preface my review by saying I am a Garmin fan. If you are a fan of the Garmin GPS devices sold in stores for cars then you will, overall, enjoy the application. It works great and doesnt require an Internet connect but if you do have data there are some neat features I am giving it only two starts because the most recent update has introduced a bug that wipes out all favourites and when the bug kicks in recent locations goes blank and remains blank. It is quite a nuisance especially if it happens when you are in a rush. Fortunately I figured out a quick fix. You need to have wifi or a data plan for this. You need to first turn on iCloud syncing of favourites to make sure that info is stored on iCloud. This needs to be done from the start so dont wait for the problem to happen to turn this feature on. Its also a good feature if you have the app installed on multiple iOS devices. Steps are; Turn off iCloud syncing Reset to factory default Turn on iCloud syncing Thats it. Seems simple enough but may not be so obvious to others. The app also has a habit of unexpectedly quitting. I tried with different iPhones and even iPads and both bugs are present. Great app but giving two stars until they fix the annoying bugs.

Just delete this app, and reload again, all will be fine. I just did it this morning, all is fine now.

Garmin, please fix this, I have an iPhone 7plus and since the update, I cant use this app, it crashes on the load, I cant get into it.

So I just got off the phone with Garmin support. If you updated just erase the app and re-download from the cloud. Works fine now

Have been using this app for last 3 years and has been great. Latest update is junk and can no longer open app at all. Timing of this is brutal as going on golf trip next week. Very poor quality control on this latest update!

Been using this for 3 years now. Saves on data when travelling and worth every penny I paid.

This app is very similar to my Garmin unit without the inconvenience of having two devices on the windshield. In-app purchases are worth it. Good job getting that next update out 2.11.1. This app no longer crashes on startup. All my favourites are still there.

Do you guys test this stuff before releasing? I tried entering in the general settings my home address with no luck of saving. So the "go home" button has to be entered manually each time. Not good.

Not worth the money you pay for it as maps are so way outdated. Google maps or Apple maps are better and are free.

Back to being the best GPS app. Thanks, Garmin.
